LGBTQ+ PEER SUPPORT GROUP

Pride in Coalville CIC runs a free, inclusive LGBTQ+ Peer Support Group for people in Coalville and nearby areas.

Our meetings are relaxed, informal, and supportive. Come to connect, talk, or just be yourself. Everyone in the LGBTQ+ community is welcome, including people who are:

  • Exploring their identity

  • Struggling with mental health

  • Living with addiction or in recovery

  • Neurodivergent

  • Looking for a connection

Location: Coalville Library, High Street, LE67 3EA

Time: 16:30 – 18:30

Every third Wednesday of the month

What to expect

  • A calm, supportive space for open conversation

  • Activities to support mental well-being and mindfulness

Why visibility matters: Being seen and heard helps reduce isolation, keeps people safer, and improves mental health and access to services.

We offer

  • Friendly, DBS-checked volunteers

  • Signposting to trusted local services (sexual health, Leicestershire LGBT+ Centre, Turning Point, NHS mental health)

  • Free refreshments

  • Fully wheelchair-accessible venue

A space for you. Everyone deserves to feel heard, supported, and accepted. Whether it’s your first time or you’re already involved in the community, you are welcome here.
