Help shape Pride in Coalville and the work we do throughout the year.
Our committee brings together local people who want to make a difference, share ideas and help create welcoming spaces for the LGBTQ+ community.
You don’t need previous Pride or committee experience. We’re looking for people who care about their community, are willing to get involved and want to help us continue growing what we do in Coalville and across North West Leicestershire.

VOLUNTEER WITH US
Pride in Coalville wouldn’t happen without our volunteers.
Local people give their time to welcome visitors, support accessibility, help with stewarding, photography, information points and plenty more throughout the day.
Volunteering is a chance to meet people, build confidence, learn new skills and be part of a team creating something positive for our community.
There’s a role for all kinds of people and experience levels, and we’ll support you along the way.

COMMUNITY VILLAGE
Our Community Village brings together charities, community organisations and businesses from across the local area.
It’s a space to connect with people, share support and information, raise awareness of the work you do and help visitors discover the organisations supporting our community throughout the year.
We especially welcome organisations working with LGBTQ+ people, health and wellbeing, young people, families, equality, community safety and local support.

FOOD & DRINK VILLAGE
Good food is a big part of a great community event.
Our Food & Drink Village gives local and independent traders the opportunity to serve thousands of visitors while becoming part of Pride in Coalville.
We’re keen to showcase a varied and affordable range of food and drink, with opportunities for businesses from Coalville, North West Leicestershire and the wider local area.

SHOWCASING LOCAL & QUEER TALENT
Our stage is about giving people from our community a place to shine.
We want to showcase singers, dancers, musicians, drag performers, theatre groups and emerging talent from Coalville, Leicestershire and the LGBTQ+ community.
