No experience is necessary. just commitment, openness, and a big heart. Support will be provided, and your ideas and voice will be truly valued.

Please be aware of the following commitments before applying:

Age Requirement: You must be 18 or over to apply. Unfortunately, we’re unable to accept under-18s onto the committee due to safeguarding and legal responsibilities.
Meeting Attendance: Committee members are expected to attend monthly meetings, typically held on Friday evenings from 6:00pm at a pre-arranged location. As we approach key events, such as fundraisers and Pride Day, these meetings will increase to a weekly schedule.
If you’re unable to attend Friday meetings regularly, please let us know. We may be able to adjust the meeting day permanently based on committee availability.
Year-Round Involvement: We’re looking for active and reliable team members who can commit to supporting Pride in Coalville throughout the year, particularly in the weeks leading up to the event. Your time, input, and energy will help make it a success.
Voluntary Role: All committee positions are unpaid and carried out on a voluntary basis.
DBS Requirement: All committee members must consent to an enhanced DBS check and be able to provide valid identification.
